The high rotary speed of the double-wall centrifuge discs of the facing sand and green sand centrifuges creates very high centrifugal forces. This accelerates the sand and the sand clumps are broken up. They then hit against a conical ring which produces a velvety-textured and free-flowing finished sand. The result is an improved strength of the facing sand which leads to an optimum surface quality of the cast components. This reduces the amount of rework needed. In addition, the centrifuging method improves aeration of the facing sand and decreases the temperature. Cleaning and reclamation of the sand raises the efficiency of your plant and reduces the costs. In addition, sand reclamation reduces waste and is environmentally friendly.
We are happy to advise you to choose the right centrifuges and installation options to ensure the best sand quality for your plant.
